Alexander J. Dove was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1970 and grew up traveling the country with his father’s job. From North Carolina to Illinois, he traveled the eastern states and mid-west growing up with his older brother. He graduated from Indiana University (Bloomington) with a degree in History. Alex went on to graduate school earning an M.A. in History from Eastern Illinois University and applied his knowledge as an adjunct professor at DeVry University. Still unfulfilled, he pursued a career in computers earning a third degree and graduating Summa Cum Laude from DeVry University.
Co-supporting his family of three girls with his wife, he has pursued a career as a novelist and is showcasing his debut novel, The Lost Demigod, soon. The book is a first in a series taking Hanna Steele, a sixteen-year-old girl, deep into a world of wizards and gods and having to learn to protect her family from Barlow and his Crimson Brotherhood.
